It can be easily damaged by over-watering potted plants kept on top of a wardrobe. It warps, then it cracks. Fixing it is a restorer\u2019s job; we\u2019re not proficient in it. This method allows savings on the more expensive material by covering the cheaper, soft wood with a hard wood layer to make it look like a solid hard wood sheet.\r\nWhen I bought a small package of plywood in a wood shop, I wasn\u2019t really sure what could be made of it, but I knew it would be good for making something interesting. Different kind of plywoods are avaible: darker, yellowish, reddish. I chose to buy the beech one. Easy to bend, but it cracks easily if it\u2019s not moistened. Once, I found a picture on Kicsi H\u00e1z (Little House)<\/span><\/a><\/span> blog. A furnished dollhouse with a lamp hanging above a small yellow chair. I realized, plywood is the right stuff for this, so I decided to make something similar in a bigger size.
